All-Region Division III Men's Soccer Team Announced: Andrew Foster Wins Regional Player of the Year and Jamal Lis-Simmons Selected as Region Coach of the Year
NEW YORK – Region 15 is proud to announce the 2025 All-Region Division III Men's Soccer selections and major award winners.
Ulster County Community College took home both big honors as sophomore Andrew Foster was selected as the Region 15 Player of the Year. Senators Head Coach Jamal Lis-Simmons was voted as the Region 15 Coach of the Year.
The voting was done by all the head men's soccer coaches in the region.
Foster scored 13 goals this year, including five match-winners. He produced two goals at Monroe University – Bronx on September 2. The second-year standout tallied a hat trick at Rockland Community College on October 2. Also, this year, Foster produced eight assists and compiled 34 total points.
Lis-Simmons led Ulster County to a 9-1-2 record in regional play this year (13-3-2 overall). The Senators finished in a virtual tie for first place in the regional standings and earned a national ranking as high as No. 7 this season. Lis-Simmons led Ulster County all the way to the Region 15 Championship match.
