Region 15 Publishes All-Region Women's Soccer Team; Suffolk County's Elizabeth Rojo and Keith Ginsberg Earn Major Awards

NEW YORK – Region 15 announced its All-Region Women's Soccer team on Sunday evening.

The 2025 Region 15 Champion Suffolk County Community College Sharks earned both major awards. Elizabeth Rojo was selected as the Region 15 Women's Soccer Player of the Year, while Sharks Head Coach Keith Ginsberg was voted as the Region 15 Coach of the Year. 

Rojo led Suffolk County to the regional championship by playing strong defense. She consistently was assigned to cover the best attackers from the opposition, and she routinely shut them down. She played a key role in Suffolk County earning eight shutouts this year. The sophomore defender is also on the All-Region first team.

Ginsberg catapulted the Sharks to a 6-0-0 Region 15 record and 9-0-0 overall. His team is currently ranked No. 4 in the country. Suffolk County captured the Region 15 Women's Soccer Championship and will compete in the NJCAA Division III National Tournament from November 11 until November 16 at Herkimer College in Herkimer, N.Y.
