Monroe - Bronx and Kingsborough to Battle for Region 15 Division III Women's Basketball Championship on Sunday

SELDEN, N.Y. – The Region 15 Division III Women's Basketball Semifinals took place on the campus of Suffolk County Community College on Saturday afternoon. 

The top-seeded Monroe University – Bronx Express defeated defending regional champion and the No. 4-Seed Hostos Community College Caimans, 90-49.

The #3-Seed Kingsborough Community College Wave earned the win over the #2-Seed Bronx Community College Broncos, 57-50.

The Express will battle the Wave for the Region 15 Championship and an automatic bid into the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament. The title game will take place on Sunday at noon.
