Nassau Men's Golf Captures Region Championship, Four Named All-Region, Jordan Earns Coach of the Year

The Nassau Community College Men's Golf team claimed the 2026 Region Championship after a dominant 36-hole tournament, finishing with a team score of 693 — a remarkable 39 strokes ahead of second-place Westchester Community College. The Lions will now carry that momentum into the NJCAA National Championship.

Coach of the Year
Head Coach John Jordan was named Region Coach of the Year, a well-deserved recognition of the leadership and dedication he brought to the program throughout the 2026 season. Under his direction, the Lions were never seriously challenged at the regional level, winning by a commanding margin and sending four players to the All-Region teams.
Looking Ahead — National Championship
The Lions now turn their attention to the NJCAA Division III Men's National Championship, where they will represent the region on the national stage. Nassau will compete at Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua, NY from June 2–5, 2026. Updates on tee times and live scoring will be posted as they become available.
