The Lions forced overtime with a stunning goal scored with five seconds remaining in regulation. Jack Pucci's overtime winner came with 20 seconds to play in the second extra session to lead the Nassau back to the top of the NJCAA Lacrosse world. The Lions currently hold the NJCAA record for most championship titles, with 22. The last title came in 2008, when Nassau defeated CCBC Essex.
