FIT Athletics Hires Talin Boyadjian as Head Swimming and Diving Coach

The hiring of FIT's new Head Swimming and Diving Coach, Talin Boyadjian, has just been announced. Coach Boyadjian brings experience to FIT both as a coach and as an NCAA distance swimmer.
Most recently, Coach Boydajian served as a full time swim instructor for HUMC Fitness and Wellness Center in Maywood, NJ where she was responsible for coaching the facility swim team and running various clinics. While coaching at HUMC, Coach Boyadjian also spent one year as assistant swim coach for Paramus Catholic HS located in Paramus NJ, where she assisted with running practices and creating meet lineups. Prior to Paramus, Coach Boyadjian spent four years as the head coach for the Hasbrouck Heights HS swim team, helping build a successful program. Coach Boyadjian has also served as manager of the Ridgefield Park Municipal Pool and Swim Coach / Clerical Supervisor at the Paramus Municipal Pool in NJ.
As an athlete, Coach Boyadjian swam four years for Ursinus College, competed for the USA in the Paralympics in 2010, and was a captain of her high school swim team at Paramus High School. Coach Boyadjian also swam seven seasons for the New Jersey Wave Club team.
Educationally,Coach Boyadjianearned a dual major Bachelors' degree in both Political Science and Environmental Studies from Ursiuns College located in Collegeville, PA. Coach Boyadjian is also a certified middle school science / elementary education teacher, certified USA Swim Coach, certified pool operator and also holds lifeguarding, CPR / AED / first aid certifications. Coach Boyadjian also believes in giving back to her home community as demonstrated by 14 years and counting of giving free swim lessons and also volunteering to tutor youth in Math and Science.
