Mustangs Men's Track And Field's Tinashe Bure Qualifies For NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships In 800-meter And 1000-meter Run At John Thomas Terrier Classic

Boston, Massachusetts - Monroe College men's indoor track and field freshman Tinashe Bure became the program's second qualifier for the 2024 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships by putting on a show at the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University in the 800-meter and 1000-meter run.

Bure got off to a quick start in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 1:56.29, defeating the NJCAA qualifying standard to earn his spot in the NJCAA Indoor Championships. He got right back to it in the 1,000-meter run, clocking in at 2:31.77 to qualify for his second event at the NJCAA Indoor Championships.

The Mustang men's indoor and track team laces it up this Friday, February 2, at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.
