Queensborough Captures 2024 CUNYAC Men’s Community College Indoor Track & Field Championship

New York, New York - The Queensborough Community College Tigers captured the 2024 CUNYAC Men's Community College Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Nike Track & Field Center on Sunday evening. The Tigers continued to compete at the high level their program has been accustomed to, taking home the number one spot amongst the two-year colleges.
David Adekoya won the 60-meter hurdles with a winning time of 8.98 to take the Conference Championship. Adekoya wasn't finished there as he was also the top community college performer in the 60-meter dash, finishing second overall in a time of 7.32 and posting a second-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.08m.
Renaediaz Miller took the bronze to two distance events, clocking in at 2:11.35 in the 800 meters and 4:50.42 in the mile.
The Tigers took the outright conference championship in the 4x400m relay, finishing the race with a time of 3:43.23. The Tigers also put up a second-place finish overall in the distance medley relay, coming in at 12:55.57.
