Queensborough Men’s Indoor Track and Field Lands Four CUNYAC All-Star Selections

Flushing, New York - After capturing the 2024 CUNYAC Community College Indoor Track and Field Championship, the Queensborough Community College men's indoor track and field team, as announced by the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) on Friday as David Adekoya, Renaediaz Miller, Benjamin Wade, and Jude Adinnu all earned CUNYAC All-Star accolades. Tigers runner Glenver Stuart was also named to the sportsmanship team alongside BMCC's Christian Davis and Kingsborough's Dontay Washington.

David Adekoya won the 60-meter hurdles with a winning time of 8.98 to take the Conference Championship. Adekoya was also the top community college performer in the 60-meter dash, finishing second overall in a time of 7.32 and posting a second-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.08m.

Renaediaz Miller took the bronze to two distance events, clocking in at 2:11.35 in the 800 meters and 4:50.42 in the mile, and was a part of the 4x400m relay that captured the conference championship with a time of 3:43.23.

Davis showed out under the bright lights at the 2024 CUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, headlining the men's team with a medal in the men's 60 meters and registering a personal best in the men's 60 meters, clocking in at 7.43 and finishing third overall. He followed up that performance with another outstanding showing in the men's 200 meters, winning his heat and crossing the finish line with a time of 24.62 and an eighth-place finish.
