Queensborough’s David Adekoya Named 2024 USTFCCCA Northeast Region Men’s Track and Field Athlete Of The Year

Utica, New York - After claiming National runner-up in the 110 meter Hurdles and a top ten finish in the men's 400 meter hurdles at the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mohawk Valley Community College, Queensborough's David Adekoya received USTFCCCA Northeast Region Men's Track and Field Athlete Of The Year accolades.

Adekoya crossed the tape with a personal best time of 15.39 in the 110 meter hurdles and finished with a time of 58.44 in the men's 400 meters.

Adekoya was also named NJCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field All-American Second Team for his second-place finish in the 110 meter hurdles, which was his second All-American honor after grabbing All-American Honorable Mention honors in the same event last year.
