Pair of Tigers Earn All-Region Cross Country Status

Bethpage, New York - A pair of Queensborough Tigers earned All-Region status for their performances at the 2022 Region XV Championships on Saturday at Sunken Meadow State Park.

Freshman Renaediaz Miller and fellow freshman LeAndre Simpson both took home Second Team All-Region honors for their Top-10 finishes at regionals. In the 8k event, Miller finished in 8th place in a time of 31:54.3, while Simpson finished in 10th place in a time of 34:26.

The Tigers cross country team will return to action on Sunday, October 30, when they participate at the 2022 CUNYAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York.
