Gabrielle De Los Santos Posts Top Seven Finish In Region 15 Championship At St. Joseph's Cross Country Invitational

Kings Park, New York - The Borough of Manhattan Community College men's and women's cross country teams laced it up at the St. Joseph's Cross Country Invitational and Region 15 championship on Saturday in Sunken Meadow Park in Bethpage, New York. The Panthers held their own against a highly competitive field of Region 15 competition, with Gabriele Dos Santos Mello (New York, New York) earning a medal for placing in the top seven in the 5k.

De Los Santos spearheaded the women's team posting the top time crossing the finish line with a time of 30:37.0, while classmate Maria Torres (Bronx, New York) finished right after clocking in at 30:53.1, and Alyssa Abrahams (Kingston, Jamaica) came across with a time of 37:23.4.
