Nassau Men's Golf Captures Region Championship, Four Named All-Region, Jordan Earns Coach of the Year

The Nassau Community College Men's Golf team claimed the 2026 Region Championship after a dominant 36-hole tournament, finishing with a team score of 693 — a remarkable 39 strokes ahead of second-place Westchester Community College. The Lions will now carry that momentum into the NJCAA National Championship.

Nassau Shines at Track & Field Championships with National Champion and Runner Up

Nassau's relay squad continued the momentum with an outstanding performance in the men's 4x400-meter relay. The quartet of Jeremaiyh Burch, Mark Roberts, Jayden Ashley, and Cahill Louis combined for a season-best effort of 3:22.48 to finish second overall in the nation. The relay team advanced through preliminaries with a qualifying time of 3:27.14 before delivering an even stronger race in the finals.

Nassau Men's Lacrosse All-Americans

Nassau Community College men's lacrosse earned four All-American selections following the 2026 season, with the Lions represented at multiple positions on both the First and Second Team rosters. Attack Luke Hartman and defender GianCarlo Valenti earned First Team All-American honors, while midfielder Alex Kershis and attack Tim Navin were each named to the Second Team — a testament to the talent and depth that defined Nassau's roster throughout the year.

Nassau Men's Lacrosse Advanced to NJCAA Semifinal

Nassau men's lacrosse advanced to the NJCAA National Championship semifinal round after defeating #6 Herkimer in a 22-12 quarterfinal victory, on May 2, behind a relentless offensive attack and a decisive second-quarter surge. After a tight and chaotic first quarter, Nassau completely took control of the game with an explosive second quarter and never looked back. The Lions' depth on offense, combined with their dominance in possession and ground balls, proved too much for Herkimer to handle.

Suffolk County to Compete in the JUCO Softball World Series Beginning on Wednesday

The Suffolk County Community College Sharks punched its ticket to the NJCAA Division III JUCO Softball World Series by defeating Community College of Rhode Island in both games of the Northeast District Championship Series back on May 9. The scores were 14-2 and 5-1. The contests took place at Winslow Field up in Warwick, R.I.

No. 13 Express Baseball Northeast District Championship Series Games 2 and 3 Recap Against No. 7 Northern Essex

The nationally ranked No. 13 Monroe University – Bronx baseball team's memorable season came to an end on Sunday. After winning a hard-fought Game 2 against nationally ranked No. 7 Northern Essex Community College earlier in the day, 6-2, the Express fell in the rubber game of the Northeast District Championship Series to the Knights, 15-7. Both games took place at Haverhill Stadium.

The NJCAA made the official announcement on Thursday afternoon which can be seen here. This marked the first year the NJCAA has released an All-America team for men's volleyball.
